Workplace giving has long been a highly valued tradition offering benefits to employers, employees, nonprofit organizations and the people they help. Here at United Way of Central Washington we conduct more than 400 workplace campaigns in businesses and organizations around our county. Contributing a little through payroll deduction each month adds up to big benefits for our local community. More than $1.5 million is raised annually through United Way’s workplace campaigns, and invested by local volunteers in effective local social service programs.

This resource improves the lives of people across Yakima and Kittitas Counties.

Loaned Executive (LE) A carefully selected individual from a business, government body, or educational facility, assigned to work on the local United Way campaign for a specified period of time. LE’s report to top campaign leadership and primarily assist in planning and implementing successful employee campaigns with businesses and organizations. Read the full LE job description here.

Washington State Employees Combined Fund Drives starts in October!

The Combined Fund Drive (CFD) is Washington State’s workplace giving program for active and retired public employees. State and higher education employees are invited to give to the charity of their choice through payroll contribution and agency fundraising events.
